The “Sunrise Marinov” music company was founded in 1996. The main scope of activity of the company is: producer’s and impresario activities, publishing and trade with music products. The company maintains good contacts and relationships with all the companies-distributors in country and has several music shops in Varna.
The publisher’s activity of the company includes the producing of all basic styles music: folklore, music for children, Bulgarian pop and variety music, city hits, ethno music and gipsy music, but the main priority is due to the folklore. The Bulgarian folk music in all of its forms and states reflects the variety of our life and culture and warrants the preservation of our national identity.
More than 100 albums with folk music from all the folk provinces in Bulgaria have been issued. The most popular performers are: Georgi Germanov, Velichka Staneva, Dafinka Damyanova, Kichka Hristova, Kostadin Gugov, Ruska Dobreva, the accordionists: Ibro Lolov, Stefan Georgiev, Ivo Ralchev, Misho Bazhev, Dimitar Stoykov and the orchestras: Zdravets, Kamchia, Varna, Varnensko Nastroenie, Aksakovsko Nastroenie, Horo – Ruse, Edelveis, Maritsa orchestra, Avligite, Rodopski solisti, Mladi Trakiytsi and many others.
The TV broadcast “Folklore Sunrise”, produced by “Sunrise Marinov” and emitted by more than 40 TV channels in country, expresses the main purpose of the company which is to popularize the folk music.
The wish of our team is to popularize vocalists, instrumentalists and groups – performers of arranged Bulgarian folklore from all over the country.
